Review: Juno is a very good movie, and once even thought that in a condescending way. If the universe was a giant movie zoo, Juno is a lovely pequeñoy lamb standing in a corner, on the other lambs jealousy resemble death incarnate. His story is not sweet by any means, in fact, its true to earth kind of stories are not always pretty, but the approach could not be more right. Modest, small, low cost, and that's exactly what makes it so great. What I also liked about it, what the hell I like in many independent films, is that it is never predictable. There is no formula, you do not know what's coming, do not you sit quietly ticking all the cliché s: just enjoy immensely. Finally, the last incorporacióna a lot of praise, and I swear I'll stop: Since centuries I have not seen the final scene, it's beautiful. It is exactly as you want it to be, and zoom the camera to a barely noticeable speed is a brilliant touch. I liked Juno. |
