Review: There can be no doubt that Cloud Atlas has become a classic that will be watched over and over again his faithful followers, as well as its predecessors, Stanley Kubrick and Ridley Scott. Despite the many questions that I had in my head when I left the theater and moments throughout the film, I felt disappointed or confused, I knew it, and I could not stop thinking about the film and tight to return to front of the screen. It is easy to criticize this film, as some have done so for over-ambitious, conniving low tastes, too simple or too complex, too few or too many actors, and even celebrate revenge violence against professional critics who write negative reviews. All of them can be right, but these critics will continue to put in the same category as those who warned the audience of 2001 or Blade Runner. It is true that Cloud Atlas deeply in their places, its visual and sound effects, its mesmerizing flow and its innovative brand narrative and cinema visitors can see it and feel it in their gut. This film, which is a product of our time on the Internet at the initiative of universal knowledge and vision, and we have the freedom to travel the world and jump between ages, genres, image and identity in our will. It reminds us that we are human and that we can still hear our heart, if we listen. |
