Review: Brave is not a bad film by any means, but it does nothing to stand out as well. The characters are decent, the story is decent, but despite the title, the film does not take risks and play everything safe. This is a basic story of a girl defying her parents and although there are occasional moments where the story seems to be going in one direction interesting, fast runs back to his old simple tale.The more easy comparison of this film would be The Little Mermaid, another story of a young princess who goes against her parents and following the desires of your heart. The main difference between the two is that Ariel the Little Mermaid has goals and ambitions, a clear idea of ​​what you want in life, while Brave Merida just want to be free in a sense very vague and general. It Come across more as a concept of a character, a feeling that extends the best film.Brave is a straight forward, lively moral tale.
